Guild Screenings

Welcome to your theater! Please feel free to arrive early and enjoy some banter with your fellow wits.

June brings with it a banner assortment of studio films, family films and offbeat indies. If you’re looking for an outing with the kids, we’ve got ALICE heading back to Wonderland, NINJA TURTLES in a new adventure, the world of WARCRAFT on the big screen and Pixar’s latest, FINDING DORY. And if you want to leave the kids at home, save the date for ME BEFORE YOU, THE MUSIC OF STRANGERS, Todd Solandz’s latest, WEINER-DOG or The Lonely Island’s POPSTAR, among a host of others.

There are also great Q&A’s to look out for. On Saturday, June 11th at 5pm we welcome Linda Woolverton to discuss her screenplay for ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS. And on Friday, June 17th at 7:30pm, John Logan will be on hand to discuss his new film about literary icons Thomas Wolfe and Max Perkins, GENIUS. Finally, on Saturday, July 2 at 5pm, writer/director Matt Ross will join us with his Sundance hit CAPTAIN FANTASTIC.

As always, members may bring TWO GUESTS to all regular screenings. We ask that members frequent the food and drink offerings from Homeboy Industries before the film. On weekends, we serve popcorn, beverages, salads, sandwiches, and fresh pastries. Only popcorn and water are allowed inside the theater, and patrons may not bring in outside food. Also, if you have any friends who say, "How come I never get invited to the Guild Screenings?"...please have them call the Membership Department and give us their email! We'll see you at the movies.
